The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted multiple airstrikes and ground operations targeting Hezbollah military sites in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley. These operations, carried out by Israeli Air Force fighter jets and ground troops, focused on locations containing rocket and missile launchers, weapons storage and production facilities, and other terrorist infrastructure. The IDF stated that these Hezbollah sites were being used to restore and advance the group's military capabilities, violating understandings between Israel and Lebanon. Notably, the IDF destroyed weapon depots and firing positions in areas such as Jabal Blat and Labbouneh, and struck a Hezbollah military command center in Yohmor, which was disguised as a civilian structure reportedly used as a cafe. The Israeli military emphasized that the presence of these weapons and Hezbollah activities constitutes a blatant breach of agreements and vowed to continue operations to eliminate threats to Israel's security.
