Iran will receive a deputy director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Monday for technical talks but will not permit the U.N. watchdog to inspect any of its nuclear facilities, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday. The visit is the first by a senior IAEA official since Tehran halted cooperation with the agency last month after Israeli strikes on Iranian sites. Araghchi said discussions will focus on establishing a new framework for cooperation and that inspections will remain suspended “until we reach a new agreement.”
