Iran said on 14 July that no date, time or venue has been set for reviving nuclear negotiations with the United States, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei. The talks were expected to bring together Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff but remain unscheduled. Baghaei added that a recent war with Israel has derailed diplomatic efforts, leaving the two sides without a roadmap for resuming discussions over Tehran’s nuclear programme. Washington has not publicly commented on a new timeline.
