Iran’s Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Aziz Nasirzadeh said on Monday that Tehran does not trust the current ceasefire with Israel, calling the pause in fighting merely a window for the Islamic Republic to ready itself for a potential resumption of hostilities. In a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Nasirzadeh added that Iran has drawn up several military scenarios to counter what he described as Israeli plotting.
