Israeli equipments given before worked well during operation Sindoor, says Israel PM Netanyahu. Hails ties with India. Reporting from Jerusalem https://t.co/EK5XYQWCAV
Israeli officials have expressed the need for Israel and Jordan to jointly join the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEC), emphasizing that the corridor, which carries energy, data, ideas, and trade, passes through Israeli territory as outlined in the memorandum of understanding establishing it. Israel aims to become a full signatory of IMEC and has proposed using the Haifa port as a key component of the corridor. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu highlighted that Israeli equipment provided to India previously performed effectively during Operation Sindoor, describing the equipment as battle-proven. Netanyahu also underscored the potential for India and Israel to collaborate on addressing cross-border terrorism. Meanwhile, Pakistan has asserted its capability to strike deep into India, including the northeast region, using long-range missiles such as Shaheen-3 and Ababeel, supported by satellite surveillance and precision weaponry, and warned of a strong retaliatory response. Netanyahu’s remarks confirm that Israeli weapons were used by India in its conflict with Pakistan.
