Israeli forces have conducted multiple artillery and drone strikes targeting various locations in the southern Gaza Strip, particularly around Khan Yunis and the Al-Mawasi area, between June and July 2025. The attacks included shelling of residential neighborhoods such as the western and central parts of Khan Yunis, the Al-Amal neighborhood, and displacement camps including Al Nuseirat and Al-Mawasi. On July 13, an Israeli drone strike on a displacement tent in Al-Mawasi resulted in at least five fatalities and 20 injuries, including a Palestinian child. Additional strikes targeted a charity kitchen near Al-Ahram Rest Area in Al-Qarara town and led to the demolition of residential buildings in central Khan Yunis. Israeli military vehicles also engaged in artillery shelling and gunfire west of Khan Yunis. These operations have been ongoing with reports of casualties and injuries among the Palestinian population in the affected areas.
