Between July 5 and July 9, 2025, Israeli forces conducted multiple airstrikes and drone attacks targeting locations in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. In Lebanon, Israeli strikes hit towns including Shebaa, Bint Jbeil, Al-Budai in Baalbek district, and the Al-Tuffah region in southern Lebanon, with Israeli drones observed flying over Beirut. In Gaza, Israeli air and artillery strikes targeted densely populated areas such as Khan Younis, Mawasi, Jabalia, Al-Shati refugee camp, Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and Nuseirat refugee camp. These attacks resulted in numerous casualties, including at least 10 Palestinians killed in Mawasi, southern Khan Younis, and additional deaths and injuries in other areas. Residential buildings, tents sheltering displaced Palestinians, and vehicles were struck. Emergency services reported difficulties reaching victims due to the intensity of the bombardments, particularly in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City. Israeli forces also targeted locations near medical facilities, including a residential building near Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. The escalation included artillery shelling and low-flying Israeli helicopters firing on Gaza neighborhoods. The ongoing strikes have caused multiple fatalities, injuries, and destruction of civilian infrastructure in both Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
