Israeli forces opened fire on civilians gathered near a U.S. aid distribution center north of Rafah in southern Gaza on 7 July, killing at least three Palestinians and wounding more than 40, according to Gaza’s emergency medical services. Initial casualty figures released shortly after the incident cited two deaths and around 20 injuries, but the toll was revised upward later in the morning as additional wounded were transported to local hospitals.
