Israeli forces have intensified military operations in Gaza City and the southern Gaza Strip, conducting heavy airstrikes, artillery shelling, and detonations of residential buildings across multiple neighborhoods including Al-Zaytoun, Khan Younis, Tel Al-Hawa, Al-Nuseirat, Al-Mawasi, Al-Amal, Deir al-Balah, Al-Saftawi, Jabalia al-Balad, Al-Rimal, and Al-Sabra. These attacks have resulted in numerous Palestinian casualties, with at least 132 people reported killed over the past 24 hours, including civilians in displaced families’ tents and residential homes. Israeli tanks have advanced into Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sabra neighborhoods following days of intense bombardment. The military campaign follows the Israeli security cabinet’s approval of a plan for the occupation of Gaza City, reportedly led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In addition to Gaza, Israeli aircraft have also conducted airstrikes in southern and western Lebanon, targeting areas such as Aitaroun, Berghoz Valley, and western Beqaa. Israeli forces have also opened fire on Palestinian homes in Kafr Malik, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
