Israeli forces intensified their campaign in the Gaza Strip late Sunday, striking multiple locations by air, land and sea. A concentrated wave of airstrikes hit the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, where several residential buildings were detonated as Israeli units advanced into the area, according to on-the-ground reports. In the south, three airstrikes were reported in northern Khan Younis, while additional raids targeted Tal Al-Hawa and other districts of Gaza City. Israeli naval vessels also shelled western parts of the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp and fired on fishing boats off the Gaza City shoreline. The overnight escalation marks one of the heaviest bombardments of Gaza in recent weeks, signalling a broader push by Israeli forces on multiple fronts across the enclave.
