Israeli occupation forces have conducted a series of raids and military operations across multiple locations in the occupied West Bank from August 19 to August 22, 2025. These operations targeted towns and villages including Wadi Burqin, Beita, Nablus city, Salem, Sebastia, Burin, southern Hebron, Al-Mughayyir, Bani Naim, Bethlehem, and Dura. The village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, has been a focal point of these incursions, where Israeli forces established a military presence, carried out arrests and field interrogations, and engaged in extensive land-leveling activities. Bulldozers uprooted and destroyed over 8,000 olive trees in Al-Mughayyir, with reports of vehicles being destroyed and the village effectively turned into a military barracks. Israeli forces also detained a Palestine Red Crescent ambulance team responding to a childbirth emergency in Al-Mughayyir, confiscating their ambulance keys. In a daylight raid in central Ramallah, Israeli security forces—including Police Unit Gideonim 33, the IDF Binyamin Brigade, and Shin Bet—arrested two suspected terrorists reportedly en route to carry out an attack. Additionally, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in coordination with the Israel Security Agency and Israel Police, apprehended a man in his thirties from Al-Mughayyir suspected of a recent shooting attack near the village. Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces were reported in the village of Anza, south of Jenin. Israeli settlers also stormed the eastern area of Beit Furik town, east of Nablus. The operations included the use of tear gas canisters fired inside a vehicle during a raid in Dura, south of Hebron. These coordinated security measures and raids reflect ongoing military activity and heightened tensions in the West Bank region.
