Israeli security forces carried out a series of overnight raids across the occupied West Bank on 9 July, detaining dozens of Palestinians and seizing firearms, according to statements and local reports. In the most extensive operation, troops entered the village of At-Tabqa, south of Hebron, arresting more than 20 residents before releasing some of them after on-site interrogation. Witnesses said detainees were paraded through the streets before being taken for questioning. North of the territory, a joint Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency unit apprehended a suspect in Al-Yamun who was allegedly organising a new armed cell. A separate raid in the nearby village of Bir al-Basha resulted in the arrest of four armed men and the confiscation of six weapons. Additional suspects were also taken into custody during the sweep, the security services said. Before dawn, forces entered Husan, west of Bethlehem, detaining at least seven individuals identified by local media. No casualties were reported in any of the operations.
