The Palestine Red Crescent Society said an Israeli strike hit its headquarters in Khan Younis late on 2 August, killing one staff member and injuring three others. Video released by the aid group showed flames and debris inside the building after the strike. Medical sources in Gaza reported that separate Israeli fire on 3 August killed at least 18 to 19 people, including 14 civilians who had been waiting for humanitarian assistance in different parts of the enclave. The Gaza Ministry of Health added that hospitals recorded six famine-related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative toll from malnutrition to 175, among them 93 children, underscoring the territory’s worsening humanitarian crisis.
