Netanyahu Plans Gaza Buffer Zone and Safe Corridors for Aid

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his government will create a security buffer zone inside the Gaza Strip and open designated safe corridors to facilitate the distribution of humanitarian supplies, including food. Netanyahu added that Israel will permit aid deliveries by air and bring additional foreign journalists into Gaza, though their movements will be limited to the newly established safe areas. He said the measures are intended to reduce civilian casualties while Israel continues its military operations in the enclave.
