Thameen Khalil Reda Dawabsheh, a 35-year-old Palestinian man, was shot and killed in the town of Duma, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed his death, attributing the shooting to Israeli settlers. Palestinian Red Crescent reported that another Palestinian was critically injured by live gunfire during settler attacks in the same town. Palestinian media indicated that the shooter was an off-duty Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldier. According to the IDF, the soldier was confronted by a group throwing rocks, including at an Israeli civilian, and after issuing warning shots that were ignored, fired to neutralize the threat. Palestinians held a farewell for Dawabsheh following the incident.
