The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported a sharp increase in violence by Israeli settlers in the West Bank during the first half of 2025. Approximately 740 settler attacks were recorded, resulting in injuries to 340 Palestinians and widespread damage. This surge in violence has exacerbated the displacement of Palestinian communities and restricted their access to essential resources. In particular, around 50 Palestinian Bedouin families have been forcibly displaced due to these attacks. Notably, 30 families from a shepherding community in the Jordan Valley left their homes after enduring persistent harassment and violence. Additionally, residents of the Khan Al-Ahmar Bedouin community east of occupied Jerusalem were compelled to dismantle their shelters and abandon their homes amid nearly daily settler militia attacks, often occurring with the protection of Israeli occupation forces. The Anti-Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported a total of 11,280 settler and occupation-related assaults in the West Bank during this period. These developments reflect an intensifying campaign of settler violence and systematic vandalism, contributing to the forced displacement of Palestinian populations in the region.
