Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto opened the annual Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a pair of home runs on Tuesday night, clearing the left-field seats on the first pitch he saw and adding a second blast later in the game. Neto’s early power display put the Angels in front during the series opener at Angel Stadium and underscored the 23-year-old’s emergence as a key bat in the club’s lineup. The contest was still in progress at press time.
