MLB just brought back their teams' full uniforms for the All-Star game, fans say, ‘NBA, you're next’ https://t.co/De8bEmj9jl
Thank you @MLB for having the players wear their own uniforms again! @UniWatch, agree? #MLBAllStarGame2025
For the first time in six years, team jerseys are BACK for the MLB All-Star Game 🔥 https://t.co/OTKAhCxuAi
Major League Baseball said players will wear their regular club uniforms in the 2025 All-Star Game, restoring a tradition that had been abandoned for the past six seasons in favor of league-wide designs. The shift, confirmed ahead of the midsummer showcase scheduled for 16 July, follows criticism from fans and some players who preferred the visibility and merchandising appeal of distinct team colors. The return of club jerseys also aligns MLB with the National Hockey League, which keeps individual uniforms for its All-Star event, and puts pressure on other U.S. leagues that use standardized All-Star kits.
