#Braves' Sean Murphy has 3 homers and 8 RBIs in his past four games including a grand slam and tonight's 3-run jack. Snitker said he'll catch again Thursday.
Murphy's 3-run homer accounts for the Braves' first run since Sunday, when he hit a second-inning solo shot that had accounted for the Braves' first runs since his grand slam the night before. He's literally carrying the offense. That's why he had to loosen a couple buttons.

Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy continued his torrid stretch on Wednesday night, drilling a two-out, three-run homer in the sixth inning to put Atlanta ahead 3–2 against the Los Angeles Angels at Truist Park. The blast snapped a team scoring drought that stretched back to Sunday, when Murphy’s solo shot produced the Braves’ only runs that afternoon. Murphy now has three home runs and eight RBIs over his past four games, a span that also includes a grand slam. Manager Brian Snitker said the 29-year-old will be back behind the plate for Thursday’s series finale as Atlanta looks to jump-start an offense that has recently leaned heavily on its All-Star catcher.
