Actor Cosmo Jarvis has withdrawn from Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic “The Odyssey” because of a scheduling conflict, according to industry reports. Jarvis, who recently appeared in “Shōgun,” had been lined up for an undisclosed role in the large ensemble cast that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Anne Hathaway. Logan Marshall-Green, known for “Prometheus” and “Upgrade,” will take over the part. Production on the Universal Pictures project is in its final weeks, with filming underway in Morocco, Italy, Ireland and Scotland. The adaptation of Homer’s poem is scheduled for an IMAX release on 17 July 2026.
