BTS said it has fully reunited after all seven members finished South Korea’s mandatory military service, ending a three-year hiatus that began in 2022. During a 30-minute livestream carried on HYBE’s Weverse platform that drew about 7.3 million real-time viewers, the group confirmed plans to start recording new material in the United States later this month. Leader RM told fans the band is aiming to release its first full-length studio album since 2020 in the spring of 2026. HYBE added that the record will be followed by a global concert tour, the septet’s first since 2022, with detailed routing and dates to be announced closer to launch. Ahead of the studio project, BTS will issue its debut live album, “Permission to Dance on Stage — Live,” on 18 July. The 22-song compilation captures performances from shows in Seoul, Los Angeles and Las Vegas staged between 2021 and 2022.
