Apple Music marked its 10-year anniversary by publishing a catalogue of the 500 most-streamed songs in its history, giving listeners an all-time ranking that spans the service’s first decade. The list, released on 5 July, is presented as a playlist and accompanies new personalised “Replay: All-Time” statistics that let subscribers review their own listening records. Ed Sheeran’s 2017 hit “Shape of You” leads the global ranking, confirming the British singer-songwriter’s single as the most-played track on the platform. The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” takes second place, followed by Drake’s “God’s Plan.” Rounding out the top five are Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” and Post Malone’s “rockstar,” featuring 21 Savage. Positions six through ten are filled by Drake, Wizkid and Kyla’s “One Dance,” Travis Scott and Drake’s “Sicko Mode,” Sheeran’s “Perfect,” Chris Brown’s “No Guidance” and Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy.” Drake dominates the broader Top 500 with 27 entries, while Taylor Swift follows with 14 appearances, underscoring the sustained streaming power of both artists on the Apple platform.
