Canadian producer-DJ Kaytranada has scheduled the release of his next studio album, “Ain’t No Damn Way!,” for 15 August. The project will be his first full-length set since 2021 and continues a run that has positioned him among the most sought-after collaborators in dance and hip-hop circles. Rapper Cardi B will also use 15 August to debut her new single, “Imaginary Players,” the latest preview from her forthcoming sophomore album, “Am I the Drama?,” due 19 September on Atlantic Records. The track follows “Outside,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic and Rap Airplay charts and peaked at No. 10 on the Hot 100 last month. Both songs will appear on the new LP, arriving seven years after her Grammy-winning debut “Invasion of Privacy.”
