Pat Green, who lost four family members in the disaster, joined Lukas Nelson for a cover of Ernest Tubb's "Waltz Across Texas." The concert successfully raised over $8.5 million for flood relief efforts. Texas Senator Ted Cruz and his wife Caroline attended the event, encouraging contributions to aid those affected. Additionally, Lainey Wilson brought a Colorado Springs veteran and cancer survivor on stage during a separate event at Denver's Ball Arena, and Bailey Zimmerman was announced as the headliner for the 2026 Coors Light Birds Nest opening night.
