Netflix has unveiled a red-band, director’s-cut trailer for “Fixed,” an R-rated, 2D animated comedy from Genndy Tartakovsky, best known for “Hotel Transylvania,” “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “Samurai Jack.” The film follows Bull, a dog who embarks on one last night of debauchery after learning he will be neutered in the morning. The voice cast is led by Adam DeVine as Bull, with Idris Elba, Kathryn Hahn, Fred Armisen, Bobby Moynihan, Beck Bennett, Michelle Buteau and River Gallo playing his companions and adversaries. “Fixed” will start streaming globally on Netflix on 13 August. Sixteen years in development, the project is produced by Sony Pictures Animation. It premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on 11 June and is slated to close Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival in early August, marking a rare festival-to-streamer trajectory for an adult animated feature.
