Raphael Saadiq is expanding his one-man production, “No Bandwidth: One Man, One Night, Three Decades of Hits,” into a 22-city U.S. tour this fall. The run opens 7 September at Channel 24 in Sacramento and winds through major markets including Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago before ending 14 October at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The three-act show features Saadiq alone on stage, alternating between storytelling, multiple instruments and performances of both his own songs and covers that influenced him. The format debuted earlier this year in select cities; the singer-producer said the tour is designed to feel “magical and like a Broadway show.” To coincide with the trek, Saadiq will issue a vinyl edition of his 2004 album “Ray Ray” exclusively to members of the Raphael Saadiq Vinyl Club, which also grants access to archival footage and other material from his three-decade career.
