Dance-punk outfit The Rapture will mount its first full headlining tour in 15 years, mapping 26 shows across North America and Europe this autumn. The run opens 16 September at First Avenue in Minneapolis and continues through major U.S. markets including Denver, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago and Brooklyn before a November European swing that concludes 23 November at Barcelona’s Razzmatazz 2. Front-man Luke Jenner called the trek “a long time coming,” noting that personal commitments and a 2014 breakup kept the band off the road. The Rapture last issued new music in 2011 with the album “In the Grace of Your Love,” but staged one-off reunion performances in 2019 and 2020. Presale tickets go live 9 July at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales opening 11 July through Ticketmaster and other outlets. The tour will mark the group’s most extensive outing since 2010, giving fans a rare chance to see signature tracks such as “House of Jealous Lovers” performed live by Jenner and a new line-up of collaborators.
