Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupted again on Wednesday, marking its 30th eruption in less than a year. The volcano, located on the Big Island of Hawaii, has been erupting intermittently since late 2024, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Aerial footage released by the USGS captured the eruption, showing lava being ejected for several hours. Scientists have been actively collecting lava samples from Kilauea to study its ongoing activity. Kilauea remains one of the world's most active volcanoes.
