Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said offenses will target Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter with a steady diet of deep routes if Hunter lines up at cornerback, a tactic he believes could sap the two-way player’s stamina over the course of a game. Speaking on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast, Kelce predicted that receivers will "run deep balls at him all day" in an effort to "make his day miserable." Hunter, selected by Jacksonville to play both wide receiver and defensive back, is attempting to become the NFL’s first full-time two-way contributor in more than six decades. The former Colorado star averaged 118 snaps per game in college, but professional coaches have not yet specified how his workload will be divided. The Chiefs will get an early look at the experiment when they visit the Jaguars on Oct. 6 for Monday Night Football.

Travis Kelce has an interesting idea for how teams will deal with WR/DB Travis Hunter, if he plays both ways. Kelce told @BussinWTB that receivers will run deep on Hunter all day, hoping to wear him out physically. https://t.co/KzdKTxMEkQ
