Russia has transferred technology for manufacturing Shahed-type attack drones and delivered operational Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile systems to North Korea, according to Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate. Budanov said in a 1 July interview that the missile batteries are already deployed around Pyongyang and that the two countries are setting up drone production lines inside North Korea. The Ukrainian intelligence chief added that the transfers are allowing North Korea to "significantly increase its military power" through direct cooperation with Moscow. Neither the Kremlin nor North Korea has commented publicly on the reported deliveries.
