Hertz will return as a primary sponsor in NASCAR by backing John Hunter Nemechek and the No. 42 Toyota for LEGACY Motor Club in the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series event at Dover Motor Speedway on July 20. This marks Hertz's first primary sponsorship in NASCAR since 2020. Additionally, Tyler Tomassi is set to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Talladega Superspeedway on October 17, driving the No. 69 Ford F-150 for MBM Motorsports. Tomassi previously finished 24th in his debut race with MBM Motorsports at Pocono. Meanwhile, two-time Dover winner Ryan Truex is aiming for victory with the New Jersey State Police sponsorship. The Dover Motor Speedway chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has also announced events during the NASCAR tripleheader weekend from July 18 to 20.
