Romania's Environment Minister, Diana Buzoianu, announced the partial rescue and imminent resumption of the Rabla program for individual car owners, which had been suspended the previous month by the Environmental Fund Administration. The program will restart with a budget allocation of 200 million lei, and individuals have already made advance payments. Buzoianu highlighted the challenges faced during a difficult economic year but confirmed the program's continuation. Additionally, she disclosed that Romsilva, the state forestry administration, owns a four-star hotel in central Bucharest that is currently operating at a loss. The minister also expressed intentions to overhaul Romsilva's management and stated that fines for feeding bears will be increased. Meanwhile, a former Romsilva director, Teodor Țigan, who retired and was subsequently rehired, has filed a lawsuit against the institution seeking compensation, despite having received a retirement bonus of 100,000 euros.
