Barcelona has finalized the signing of 19-year-old Swedish winger Roony Bardghji from FC Copenhagen. The deal, confirmed in July 2025, involves a transfer fee of around €2 million plus add-ons and a 15% sell-on clause. Bardghji signed a four-year contract with Barcelona, valid until June 2029. The young talent, who previously impressed with a notable Champions League goal against Manchester United in 2023, has joined Barcelona's first team for the preseason Asian tour under coach Hansi Flick and assistant Deco, who both see potential in him. Bardghji completed his medical examinations in Barcelona and officially signed his contract in the presence of club officials, including Deco, Bojan, Laporta, and Yuste. Born in Kuwait to Syrian parents and raised in Sweden, Bardghji plays as a right winger and is considered a promising prospect who could compete with fellow youth player Lamine Yamal. He made his debut for Barcelona in a preseason friendly against Vissel Kobe on July 27, 2025, scoring in a 3-1 victory.
