Olympique de Marseille's coach Roberto De Zerbi justified the exclusion of Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe following a violent altercation in the dressing room after a 1-0 defeat to Stade Rennais. Both players, who contributed to Marseille's second-place finish in Ligue 1 last season, were subsequently put on the transfer list. Jonathan Rowe officially signed a four-year contract with Serie A club Bologna for around €19.5 million. Meanwhile, De Zerbi has expressed hope for reconciliation with Rabiot and has not ruled out his return to the team, despite the incident. Rabiot is expected to remain in the French national team selection. Additionally, other transfer news includes German clubs agreeing with Lyon for a one-year paid loan of a 20-year-old right-back with an obligatory purchase option of €6 million, and Galatasaray proposing €28 million to AS Monaco for Wilfried Singo. N'Golo Kanté has also been offered to Paris FC and Monaco, with Al-Ittihad open to his departure.
