Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially signed French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille for a reported fee of 40 million euros ($46.6 million). Chevalier, regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in Ligue 1, is expected to become PSG's first-choice goalkeeper and a future number one for the French national team. Shortly after his arrival, Chevalier won the UEFA Super Cup with PSG, contributing notably by saving a penalty during the shootout against Tottenham. To replace Chevalier, Lille has signed Turkish international goalkeeper Berke Özer from Eyüpspor on a four-year contract for 4.5 million euros, excluding bonuses. Additionally, PSG is also preparing for other squad changes, with the club reportedly in advanced talks to sign French forward Willem Geubbels from FC Saint-Gall for around 10 million euros.
