Brazilian football club Botafogo has formally requested nearly 65 million euros in compensation from French club Olympique Lyonnais (OL), alleging that several player transfers were conducted at unfavorable prices to assist Lyon during its financial difficulties with the DNCG. Among the players involved are Luiz Henrique, Igor Jesus, and Savarino, with the latter sold for 48 million Brazilian reais. Both Botafogo and Lyon are owned by John Textor, adding complexity to the dispute. In related transfer news, OL has signed Tyler Morton for 15 million euros including bonuses. Strasbourg has agreed to acquire Danish defender Lucas Høgsberg from Nordsjælland for 15 million euros plus bonuses and a resale percentage. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has reached an agreement with Lille to sign goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier for over 40 million euros, including bonuses, making him one of the most expensive goalkeepers in history. Additionally, Manchester United has secured Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig for 76.5 million euros plus 8.5 million euros in bonuses, with a contract extending until June 2030.
