Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially signed French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille. The 23-year-old goalkeeper, regarded as one of the best in Ligue 1, joined PSG on a five-year contract. The transfer fee has been reported with some discrepancies, including figures of 40 million euros ($46.6 million) and 55 million euros, placing Chevalier among the top three most expensive goalkeepers in history. Chevalier expressed his excitement about realizing his dream of playing at the highest level. His arrival at PSG is seen as a strategic move despite the strong performances of current goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who had hoped to extend his contract with the club. Chevalier was warmly welcomed by his new teammates during training. Additionally, Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarnyi is expected to join PSG soon. Chevalier's signing reflects PSG's ambition to strengthen key positions ahead of the new season.
🚨🔴🔵 Gigio Donnarumma will leave Paris St Germain for sure, most likely this or eventually next summer. The relationship is completely broken after club decide to exclude Gigio from their squad for Super Cup. 🏴 Understand Premier League is the most likely destination. https://t.co/6d2YxOF7lu

🚨⚠️ Paris Saint-Germain exclude Gigio Donnarumma from their squad for UEFA Super Cup. Donnarumma will not sign new deal at PSG, there’s no agreement and he will 100% leave the club, this summer or in 2026 as free agent. Gigio’s camp feel it’s unfair situation for the GK. https://t.co/ILk5g9IZQ3
