Anthropic, the AI startup behind the chatbot Claude, has introduced two new features aimed at enhancing its AI assistant's capabilities for enterprise users. The first is a 'Research' feature that enables multi-faceted searches with cited answers, functioning like an intelligent agent capable of searching both the web and internal documents. The second is an integration with Google Workspace, allowing Claude to access and search through emails, calendars, events, and files within an enterprise environment. These updates are designed to streamline workflows by eliminating the need for users to upload or repeat context, providing inline citations, deep reasoning, and real-time insights. Additionally, Anthropic is preparing to launch a voice mode for Claude, which is expected to strengthen its competitive position against OpenAI. The new features are available for Max, Team, and Enterprise customers.
