Microsoft has launched a comprehensive update to its Copilot AI assistant, introducing several new features aimed at enhancing user experience and functionality. The redesigned Copilot now includes voice interaction, allowing users to engage with the assistant through conversational language. Additionally, the new Copilot Vision feature provides real-time visual assistance by analyzing text and images on the screen. Copilot Daily, another new feature, delivers personalized news briefings tailored to user interests. The update also integrates the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4o and o1, for improved reasoning capabilities. This overhaul is part of a broader effort to make Copilot a more personalized and intuitive AI companion. The update is available with the Windows 11 2024 update, version 24H2, which also includes other enhancements such as improved Start menu, File Explorer, and Settings. Notably, the Recall AI feature has been reintroduced, and the new Click to Do feature helps users search images and text. The update will initially roll out to Snapdragon X Elite PCs.
