Oracle and Alphabet’s Google Cloud on 14 August said they have expanded their partnership to make Google’s Gemini artificial-intelligence models available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Starting with the Gemini 2.5 model, enterprise customers can deploy the multimodal generative-AI system via Oracle’s OCI Generative AI service to build text, image, video and audio applications, while paying with existing Oracle Universal Credits. The companies plan to integrate the full range of Gemini models—including specialised versions for industries such as healthcare—through Vertex AI and to offer Gemini as an option inside Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for finance, human resources and supply-chain management. Financial terms were not disclosed. Google Cloud chief executive Thomas Kurian said the agreement "makes it even easier" for Oracle clients to roll out AI agents, while Oracle Cloud Infrastructure president Clay Magouyrk called the deal a further step in giving customers a curated choice of secure, enterprise-grade AI tools.
