SpaceX plans to conduct its 100th Falcon 9 flight of 2025 on Monday, 18 August, with liftoff from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California targeted for 9:23–9:26 a.m. Pacific Time (12:23–12:26 p.m. Eastern / 1623–1626 UTC). The launch will mark the company’s latest milestone in a record cadence of orbital missions this year. Designated Starlink 17-5, the mission will place 24 second-generation Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low-Earth orbit. It will be SpaceX’s 72nd dedicated Starlink launch of 2025, bringing the number of Starlink spacecraft deployed so far this year to 1,786 as the company expands its global broadband constellation. The flight will reuse first-stage booster B1088 for the ninth time. After separating, the booster is scheduled to land on the Pacific-based droneship ‘Of Course I Still Love You,’ which would represent the vessel’s 145th recovery and SpaceX’s 489th successful booster landing overall.
