Bringing the 4-PT shot to the WNBA All-Star Game, with a charitable twist 🎯 https://t.co/F8AC2BaT9M
WNBA is bringing back the 4-point shot for this weekend's All-Star Game. Used the shot during the 2022 and 2023 game but not last year. AT&T is making charitable donations for each made 4-pointer. https://t.co/Vr3H42qwQr
The WNBA said it will bring back the AT&T-branded 4-point shot for the 2025 All-Star Game, installing two marked circles on each half of the court. Any basket made with a player’s feet inside those zones will count for four points rather than the usual three. AT&T will donate an undisclosed amount to foundations supported by the league for every successful 4-pointer, with players selecting the beneficiaries. The long-range feature was part of the 2022 and 2023 showcase events but was omitted last year.
