Mill City Ventures, a Nasdaq-listed investment firm, has increased its holdings in the SUI token by acquiring an additional 5.6 million tokens for over $20 million at an average price of $3.65 per token. This purchase was made through a combination of public market transactions and a discounted supply deal with the Sui Network Foundation, bringing Mill City Ventures' total SUI holdings to 81.9 million tokens. Sui is a decentralized, permissionless Layer 1 blockchain platform focused on low-latency asset management. Separately, Sentient AGI, a project aiming to develop a superintelligent AI platform with an open-source approach, has launched its mainnet called GRID. The project recently raised $85 million in funding led by three major US venture capital firms: Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, and Framework Ventures. Sentient AGI's network currently integrates over 100 participants, including agents, models, data providers, and AI research contributors, and is conducting a limited-time engagement event called the Galaxy Mission, which ends on August 19, 2025.
