A powerful explosion tore through an ammunition depot located between the towns of Zardana and Al-Fu'ah in Syria’s north-western Idlib countryside on 7 July, according to local media outlets and Sky News Arabia, which cited the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The blast was heard across Idlib city and its fireball was visible from several kilometres away, residents said. There were no immediate reports of casualties, and the cause of the detonation has yet to be determined.
