The Spiritual Leadership of the Druze in Syria has called for the disarmament of armed factions in the Suwayda governorate and urged them to cooperate with the Ministry of Interior forces to enable the restoration of security. They welcomed the deployment of Interior and Defense Ministry forces to take control of security and military centers in the province. The Druze leadership has appealed to international figures, including U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Jordan's King Abdullah II, to intervene and provide direct international protection for the Druze community in Suwayda. Following an agreement, the Druze leadership announced a 48-hour prohibition on any party entering border villages to allow security forces to deploy and prevent surprise attacks, with any unilateral actions outside the agreement bearing full responsibility. However, they expressed regret over the failure of the other party to fully comply with the agreement. Additionally, checkpoints belonging to the Public Security forces have been established outside Suwayda's administrative borders to help control clashes.
