Motorola has pushed back the retail debut of its Swarovski-adorned Razr 2025 from the previously signalled 5 August to 15 August, according to the company’s latest marketing materials. The delay affects the entire “Brilliant Collection”, which also includes a crystal-studded version of the open-ear Moto Buds Loop headphones. The special-edition Razr keeps the standard handset’s hardware—a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display, 3.6-inch external screen, MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, 50-megapixel main camera and 4,500 mAh battery—but substitutes a leather-inspired rear finished in PANTONE’s Ice Melt blue. Thirty-five Swarovski crystals are set into the casing, with a 26-facet stone accenting the hinge, while the volume keys are reshaped to echo the crystal motif. Motorola is pricing the bundle at $999.99, positioning the crystals and matching earbuds as the premium differentiators rather than upgraded specifications. The Brilliant Collection is slated to go on sale through Amazon, Best Buy and Motorola’s own site on 15 August, with availability at Cricket Wireless to follow. Motorola says the release marks the first in a series of curated design collaborations aimed at marrying foldable technology with fashion-focused aesthetics.
