Çelik condemned Özel's statements as disrespectful and a threat to legitimate democratic processes, emphasizing that Turkey's democracy does not operate on CHP's internal congress logic. Communication Director Fahrettin Altun also responded to Özel's comments, describing the threat to mobilize the public onto the streets as undemocratic and provocative, undermining social peace and national unity. Altun reaffirmed that the will of the people is expressed solely through the ballot box, in accordance with the principles of the Turkish Constitution. AK Party officials, including Youth Branch President Yusuf İbiş, accused the CHP of exploiting young people only when politically convenient. Meanwhile, CHP's Adana Mayor Zeydan Karalar, implicated in the investigations, denied all allegations, calling the probe politically motivated and baseless.
