Erdoğan asserted that anyone who took bribes—“whether in suitcases or baklava boxes”—would “tıpış tıpış” face justice, insisting that the governing AK Party had no role in the legal probes. He also warned that attempts to shield suspects by granting them parliamentary immunity would not be tolerated, adding that the CHP had become a “haraç partisi” after a century in Turkish politics.
