Apple TV+ has set August 22, 2025, for the debut of the third season of its science-fiction drama “Invasion” and released a one-minute teaser trailer to mark the announcement. The 10-episode season will roll out weekly on Fridays, concluding on October 24. Created and executive-produced by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, the series chronicles an alien onslaught through multiple perspectives around the globe. Season 3 brings those storylines together for the first time as the main characters attempt a coordinated mission to infiltrate the alien mothership, confronting what Apple describes as “ultimate apex aliens” spreading rapidly across Earth. Returning cast members include Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza and Enver Gjokaj. Erika Alexander joins as a series regular. Kinberg, Weil, Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Dan Dietz, Katie O’Connell Marsh and Nick Nantell remain on the executive-production team. The renewal extends Apple TV+’s recent push into high-profile genre fare, arriving weeks after the third season of “Foundation” and amid production of the streamer’s “Neuromancer” adaptation.
