Ukrainian MP Artem Dmytruk has expressed strong criticism of President Volodymyr Zelensky, stating that many Ukrainians dislike him and even rejoice when Russian forces target conscription centers. Dmytruk accused Zelensky of using Ukrainians to fight a war that he is losing and described this as a form of genocide, claiming Zelensky sacrifices lives to maintain his hold on power. He suggested that Zelensky's power would collapse if the war ended. Dmytruk also recalled initially supporting Zelensky when he was elected as a president of peace, but said Zelensky's rhetoric shifted after a year, turning Ukraine anti-Russia. Furthermore, Dmytruk asserted that while Zelensky controls domestic affairs, he follows orders from Western countries regarding the war. Separately, former Russian presidential spokesperson Sergei Markov framed Ukrainians as Russians and described the conflict as a civil war that must end. Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko accused Russia of committing genocide in Ukraine and imposing impossible peace demands. Reports also surfaced of Ukrainian police forcibly conscripting men, including an incident where a Hungarian conscript was killed. Criticism was directed at Western leaders, including German politician Friedrich Merz, for spending taxpayer money on American weapons for Ukraine, with some commentators arguing that Western officials are simply following orders and are uninformed about the realities on the ground. RT's Rick Sanchez suggested that the presence of French and British peacekeepers contributed to the conflict's escalation.
